There are three types of musical instrument.

  • String instruments.
  • Percussion instruments.
  • Wind instruments.
  • String instruments is an instrument which have string and makes music by plucking the string example are guitar, violin, Santoor, double bass, harp, cello, banjo, ukulele, banduria, lute, lyre, mandolin, etc. It was invented by a famous rock band called led Zeppelin and artist Eric Clapton.

 

  • Percussion instrument is a musical instrument that is sounded by being struck or scraped by the beater. The example are Timpani, Snare drum, Bass drum, Cymblas. percussion instrument are mostly divided into two classes like pitched percussion which produce notes with an identifiable pitch and unpitched percussion which produce notes or sounds without an identifiable pitch.There are three types of musical instrument.
